The use of thickening to separately concentrate activated sludge is becoming accepted as a cost-effective alternative to the construction of new digester capacity . The results in reduction are around 75-80 % in the volum of secondary sludge for digestion, increasing time digestion by 50-100 % and producing more gas.

We can provide thickener mobile units with treatment capacity ranges from 20 m3/hour to 70 m3/hour with solids in sludge of 2 to 6 gr/liter.

Sludge can be thickened up to 60-100 gr/liter without using any type of additives (flocculant)
